Fashion refers to the style and custom prevalent at the given time. Usually fashion refers to the appearence pf the clothing. Many fashion styles may be prevalent and popular around the globe at the same time.
The people they work for designing the clothes or bringing out and introducing new fashion styles are said to be 'fashion designers'. The looks that suits or fits the current environment and prevalent fashion style is said to be 'fashionable', otherwise 'unfashionable'.
The old fashion styles that suddenly come into existence in the current environment and becomes popular as prevalent current fashion is the RETRO fashion. The word fashion is very close to the words glamour, beauty and style.
